The Centre for Media Studies (CMS), with support from the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, invites short films for its ‘Green Frames: VATAVARAN Short Film Competition and Festival 2023 ’. The theme of this competition is “Environmental Preservation and Climate Advocacy”. This competition aims to highlight the urgency of environment/ biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation/mitigation and demonstrate how our lifestyle decisions affect the environment and promote best practices and positive stories that show how individuals, companies, and communities are grappling with environmental and climate challenges and taking action to improve the situation. more
The 'Green Frames: VATAVARAN Short Film Festival and Award Ceremony' will take place in Bhopal on March 5th, 2024, at the Regional Museum of Natural History Bhopal auditorium. Organized by CMS VATAVARAN, supported by the U.S. Consulate Mumbai, and in collaboration with the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH). Seven winners will receive non-monetary awards totalling INR 150,000 & there will be screening of films. Chief Guest Ms. Brenda Soya, along with the Guest of Honour Ms. Naaz Rizvi, Director of the National Museum of Natural History, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India and other dignitaries will attend the ceremony celebrating inspiring green films and filmmakers.
